Committed to Transparent, Long-Term Results for Women’s Recovery

Treatment effectiveness varies significantly among treatment centers. At Avery Lane for Women, we prioritize transparency by consistently tracking our outcomes. Since 2017, we’ve partnered with INSIGHT Addiction™, an independent, science-based organization, to measure patient success rates and ensure our results are accurate and life-changing over the long term.

Clinical Success at Avery Lane for Women

Our care programs focuse on the whole person, specializing in alcoholism, substance use disorder, and dual diagnosis. Upon admission, many patients report experiencing severe depression, anxiety, trauma, and PTSD. We help women uncover the root causes of their addiction and mental health challenges. Using a comprehensive, integrative model, we teach women to regain control of their lives. Our data demonstrates that this approach leads to successful post-treatment outcomes.

Women Feel Much Better and Enjoyed an Improved Quality of Life

Over a Year Later Compared to Before Treatment

Among patients who completed the twelve-month post-treatment survey, nearly two-thirds (65%) reported feeling “excellent” or “good” over the past 30 days. This marks a dramatic improvement compared to just 7% who felt the same way in the 30 days prior to entering our program.

Achieving long-term sobriety is the ultimate goal for individuals seeking recovery, and this 90% success rate highlights a program that fosters sustainable change. By demonstrating that nearly all patients maintained their commitment to sobriety a year after treatment, it underscores Avery Lane’s ability to equip patients with the tools and support needed to reclaim their lives and thrive beyond addiction.

Data & Methodology

Avery Lane partnered with INSIGHT Addiction™ on November 2, 2017, to track patient progress. This summary covers data for patients discharged between October 1, 2020, and February 29, 2024.

Shortly after intake, patients were screened for depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, suicidal ideation, and self-harm. Regular follow-up assessments helped clinicians monitor symptom severity, cravings, treatment satisfaction, and relationships. Vista Research Group then contacted patients one, six, and twelve months after treatment—making multiple attempts via text, email, and phone—to gather honest feedback confidentially. Only aggregated results were shared with Avery Lane.

We were all so fortunate to find Avery Lane when our daughter was at a low point. An initial diagnosis was confirmed by staff and the time spent there in recovery was very beneficial to both our daughter and ourselves. Our daughter was able to find out why she was behaving the way she was and was given many tools to help her recovery.

I can only say that seeking help is the first big step. I am so grateful to have found the team at Avery Lane…this past year has been far from easy or simple. I’ve had my moments of doubt, crisis, despair, loneliness…. but in each of those instances I had an incredible group of women to help me through my journey…reminding me of the many tools at my disposal, the strength of my soul and the freedom that comes when you face your worst fears.

My daughter chose to go to Avery Lane because it was founded by a woman, run by women and only treated women. It gave her a safe sanctuary to heal as well as peace of mind for us, her parents, who did not want her in a co-ed treatment program."
