How “Blue” Works in California

Anthem Blue Cross is the BCBS licensee in California, and Blue Shield of California is a separate Blue plan many Californians carry. If you are not sure which plan site to use, the BCBS Association Member Services page helps you find your plan’s portal and phone numbers.
